NOFA NJ is a 40+ year-old nonprofit 501(c)3 organization focused on supporting Organic farming and local food systems in the Garden State.
NOFA NJ provides hands-on training and resources to beginning and experienced farmers and gardeners, advocates for policy that supports farmers and protects the environment and engages the public to support healthy and organic food systems throughout NJ.
From educational events and conferences to direct farmer support services, NOFA NJ has been recognized as the leading support agency for NJ’s Organic and Regenerative farming community.
Our Farmers Process initiative is creating opportunities for farmers through the development of value-added products (e.g. turning tomatoes into sauce, cucumbers into pickles, etc..), reducing food waste, improving farmer profitability and getting more local food into the market in the process.
